Since sustainability is one of the main criteria of the 4x4 in Schools competition, we decided to make it our number one priority to produce a vehicle that could redefine the stigma attached with four wheel driving. You don't need a fuel guzzling engine, or tyres that shred pristine soils, and using tough construction materials that aren't sustainable.

Our innovative and lightweight aluminum chassis has several key features; its lightweight, recyclable, durable, available and sustainable.

Laser cutting our aluminium components cuts back on waste and greenhouse gases when compared to standard systems.

With the plentiful Australian sun nearly always beaming down on us, it is important that we utilise it. This solar panel charges batteries that power our vehicle.
